- Good Stuff this SALMON based. Okay, we just ordered a big bag recently. We tried many different foods he kept losing weight all our other furkidz of the Maple Hill Gang hope he would drop some so they could enjoy it too. I personally have never tasted it but I don’t care for fish anyway. They are hunters so their food is different & balanced for activity & or inactivity. Sadly we lost Zeus to *several debilitating health issues yesterday. This past summer he was diagnosed with Cushing’s Syndrome/disease had several oral cancer surgeries, Yet it kept coming back with a vengeance. I won’t get into the details, but we have been spoon-feeding him for quite some time as a result. Never Give up on your best friend NEVER! We also lost two of our other brothers Furkidz recently Vin & Ziggy passed 2 months apart 11 1/2 y.o. beagle brothers. They let you know when it’s time to cross the Rainbow Bridge. Zeus nearly made it to 13, that’s a Great Long Life for a large breed Cane Corso. He was a TROOPER… Right to the end, his legacy will live on with fine memories & thousand of photos. Best for Allergy Dog!
- My dog had been on prescription dog food for the last 7 years due to allergies. The prescription food was >$100 a large bag and the last 2 bags made my dog sick the first few days of giving to her. I was fed up! In search of new food, I knew lamb was a protein she was not allergic to so we started with Rachel Ray’s just 6….after just 2 days wow she was itchy. No good. So my next thought was to try a grain-free to see if there was a grain allergy/intolerance. We went through 1 bag of the lamb and sweet potato here by American Journey and no allergies! My dog’s coat is thicker than before (when she was on the prescription food) and healthier. When I ran out I tried the Salmon and sweet potato (because my Chewy reorders of lamb was behind from all the crazy holiday shipping and I needed food and that is all the pet store had). I was worried because I didn’t have enough lamb left to make the transition and my girl has a very sensitive stomach…and NO PROBLEM. In addition, she is really picky I have never seen her get excited over food like she does this one. Lastly, her energy levels have improved. It seems like maybe the fish-based is also good for her joints. Win, win-win! This food is awesome!

- My dog loves this food! She usually gives me issues eating not one issue with this food! She eats her bowl full as soon as I fill it! No digestive issues with it so far either! She seems to really enjoy the flavor as well! I am grateful to have found this food! Chicken and sweet potatoes are her faves!!!
